In regards to children's rights: Do you (whomever is reading this) believe children (including babies) have a right to have sex? If not, then you don't believe children have rights. If you do, then you should not have a problem with child pornography, because you must believe that children can consent to sex (including babies).

Hi Brodie,

Yes, of course, children should have a right to do whatever they want as long as they don't violate someone else's rights (ie. use violence against someone). That does not mean we don't have a problem with child pornography. That is a stick man argument. If a child consents to sex and has no problem with it being recorded, that is their choice. If they are forced to do it, against their will, then that is a violent aggressive act and needs to be ended and resolved.

The story of the day:-

Rand Paul tries to get a journalist, who asked an awkward question, stripped of her press credentials and fired.

Rand Paul = Scum Bag.

Intellectual property is something that can be replicated without taking away from the original.

An individual person however is something that cannot be replicated. Even identical twins are two individuals. If I kill a child in the womb or outside of it, I cannot bring back that same individual. I can procreate a new baby life form, but it will not be exactly the same as the one I had killed.

Do I have a right to kill an individual that I helped to create? If I allow someone into my house for nine months, can I suddenly claim they are trespassing after a month and shoot them?

My opinion on the abortion issue is that an unconcious being has no preference for life or death so it could not care less if it lives (or dies). The concious being that is most involved is the mother, so her preference over rides all others.
